Since its inception in 1983 the Alternative Hair Show has raised in excess of £7.5 million for Leukaemia Research. As its name suggests, this is one hair show with a difference and Burlingtons has been part of the line up since the very first show. The fundraising show was created by hairdresser Tony Rizzo, following the death of his son Valentino, and the worthy cause touched Burlingtons founder Clive Colman from the start. 'This has always been a part of the Burlingtons calendar and we are so proud to have supported it for all these years' he says. 'It gives our Art Team the chance to unleash their creativity and we know we are helping an outstandingly great cause'
For Alternative Hair Show founder Tony Rizzo, the support of Burlingtons has been paramount to its success. Burlingtons have never failed to impress me with their creativity that excels every year at the Alternative Hair Show.
I am so grateful for all their on-going support and am so honoured that they are still part of this wonderful show after all these years. It is an absolute pleasure to have them as part of the line up amongst the greatest hair artists in the world.
